CURWENSVILLE — The Curwensville Lady Tide soccer team played against Brookville on Saturday, September 28.
The game was dedicated to cancer awareness and support. The first annual event “Giving Cancer the Cleat” was a great success.
A donation was presented to Clearfield County Cancer Support, Inc. This local group, made up of volunteers, is dedicated to helping cancer patients ease their financial burdens by providing financial support for basic needs, such as gas cards, utility bill payments, etc, allowing focus to be on their treatment, and not a bill they are unable to pay.
